winter wanderings & whimsical wishes

This past weekend, I went to Coudersport, PA with the Boy for a ski/snowboarding and church adventure. It was fabulous. We went to Denton Hill on Saturday. It was somewhat icy, but I was still excited for the opportunity to snowboard again after nearly a year. I did ok, but I stayed on my heels alot and unfortunatly did a great deal of snowplowing (which I hated!). My toe edge skill is still highly underdeveloped. Something I will have to work on at GSEoP. (10 days and counting!!!)

On Sunday, we went to Gospel Tabernacle, a church in which the Boy's uncle is the pastor. Pastor Minor preached, and that was amazing, of course. And right accross the street, someone was selling a military transport vehicle from the 70's for only $4,800. I fell in love with it instantly. The Boy graciously allowed me to climb around in the thing to satisfy my uncontrolable desire for ownership.
