Snowboarding in Colorado was amazing to say the least. I could not believe the amazing scenery; the vast display of mountains and hills that were present in this amazing area of the country. And being in this area even more-so created a delight and awe in an intellegent Creator. What an amazing God He is.
Snowboarding was awesome. I worked very hard to develope a first functional, then nearly comfortable toe-edge. Then I worked on my S-curves, switching from heal to toe in a less choppy, smoother manner. It took alot of work, but I started getting the hang of it by the second day. This was evidenced by my endevour to perform on a Blue Square.
My little brother encouraged me to take a chance and try a Blue Square for the first time ever. He was with me every step of the way. Cool guy. Anywho, I made it down on the hill (not the lift), and I am extremely proud of myself. Other than the Blue, I performed 5 Green Circles that day. A huge feat for an out-of-shape Delawareian 11-thousand feet above sea level. (My point: Oxygen was scarce).
The other great thing about the snowboarding trip was that I got to see people I hadn't seen in a while. I also got to meet new people.
I got to hang with my brother and my future sister-in-law, which was equally amazing, because I do admire both of them. They planned a four-day trip for 21 people which included all meals, housing, and transportation (not to mention the snowboarding part of it). Amazing.
I love CO. I want to move there someday.
Of course, this does not matter one way or another, because what I want isn't important whatsoever.
What I want should be what God wants.
I hope God wants CO someday.... ;)
